We performed at the Nakameguro Natsu Matsuri despite earlier concerns about rainy weather.
Until last year I had always enjoyed watching Awa Odori from the side of the road, but eventually deciding that simply watching wasn't enough, I was able this year to join Tokyo Ebisuren as one of their musicians.
Seeing the delighted reactions from the spectators really helped blow away the heat, and it was more fun and exciting than I can describe. Some friends that came to watch also expressed that in spite of the harsh temperatures, the twinkling smiles nearly moved them to tears.
Moving forwards, I want to work hard at polishing my performance skills, so I can leave a strong and lasting impression on the guests that come to see us. by N.T
